Equipping the Saints!

What’s been going on in Youth Ministry?

Team Blessed Pier completing the “Egypt Here We Come” Mission.

What a couple of weeks it has been in Youth Ministry! We started with our kick-off on August 30th and had over 30 people attend! We even ran out of food for everyone because more people attended than I was ready for. Sorry adults.

What a night that was! Our students and adults participated in a Goosechase game. Goosechase is a scavenger hunt game that is played using your phone. Students were able to upload pictures and videos of them completing the game to win points for finishing a “mission”. The pictures surrounding my letter are some of my favorites from our game. Congrats to our winning team: Team St. Isidore.

Team St. Isidore Completing the “Now That’s a Rock” Mission

These last two weeks saw us starting our high school programming. For the first time, St. Isidore is using the program Equipped for Life by EQ Saints. We are in year one of this four year program. Year one is called Encounter and we will spend time growing in community with each other and growing to make a personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ. Our evenings are spent praying and playing games in a large group and then breaking into small groups to share our faith with each other.
