Diaconate Ordination of Native Son

Caleb Scherzinger and Phillip Rogier received the Rite of Ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacon at St. Joesph Church in Jasper, Indiana on April 29, 2023 conferred by the Most Reverend Joesph M. Siegel, Bishop of Evansville.

Deacon Caleb grew up at Saint Peter Celestine Church, Saint Isidore Parish. Deacon Caleb is assigned to Sts. Peter and Paul, Haubstadt, Indiana for the summer and will then proceed to his final year of seminary at Saint Meinrad. Saint Isidore is very proud of Caleb and his pursuit of priesthood.
