From the Desk of Fr. Eugene

I recently had a chance to see the new movie out called, “Unplanned.”  This movie is a true story of a Texas A& M college student who slowly becomes involved and starts working for Planned Parenthood.  Eventually, Abby Johnson becomes the director of the clinic.  Abby slowly over times comes to realize that Planned Parenthood is not first about the concerns of women’s health but more about making money through abortions.  In many ways, I find it hard to imagine her buying into the agenda of Planned Parenthood.  However, one can never underestimate the power of an organization to hide the real truth from people who want to believe the best in people and companies.  Eventually the blinders come off of Abby’s eyes and she is able to see Planned Parenthood for what it really is.  God takes the experience of Abby working for an abortion company and helps her to encourage other people working in abortion industry to find a way out of their part in the taking of innocent life.  If you are a teenager or older and get the chance to see this movie at the theatre or rent it, I encourage you to do so.

God bless Fr. Eugene
